Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new record in the Saudi Arabia Pro League after Al Nassr’s match against Al Ittihad.

Ronaldo has become the first player in the Arabia Pro League to achieve an all-time high of 35 goals in a single season.

Ronaldo made an incredible impact in the match between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad, scoring two goals to break the record for the most goals scored in a Saudi Pro League season.

These two goals put Ronaldo ahead of Moroccan footballer Abderrazak Hamdallah, who previously held the record with 34 goals during the 2018-2019 season. Interestingly, Abderrazak Hamdallah also set this record while playing for Al Nassr.

On X Cristiano Ronaldo stated that he doesn’t follow the record adding that the records follows him.

He stated, “I don’t follow the records, the records follow me”
